SHOW: CELEBRITY TROTTING – What more is there to say about this man? 61-year-old Brit John Whitaker starts by casually winning the CSI5* Vienna Opening Jump over 1.45m in the saddle of Echo of Light in the afternoon, and then picks up the winner’s trophy in the sulky just a few hours later.

As co-driver in the double-sulky, John Whitaker (GBR) left his five competitors on the celebrity trotting track behind him once again. “I didn’t do anything – my driver Gerhard Mayr and the horse did all the work”, stated John at the award ceremony.

Meanwhile Thomas Frühmann of the event team also had a kind of victory. Mayr and Whitaker’s winning horse belongs to his ex-wife Serena Hamberg, as does Thomas’s legendary jumping horse The Sixth Sense.
